Time for Bed app for iPhone and iPad
How do you stop your children getting up too early?
For children who are too young to read an ordinary clock, the Time for Bed app uses the sun and moon to explain the difference between night and day. The changing images encourage children to stay in bed longer as they learn to stay in bed until the sun appears and the animated characters wake up.
The apps features include:
Relaxing Animations: cute characters in animal costumes float by on fluffy clouds against a moonlit sky. Children can watch the animations and, like counting sheep, this can help them fall to sleep.
Soothing Sounds & Lullabies: help soothe your children to sleep with a lullaby or sounds of nature. Lulabies include Brahms Lullaby, Rock a Bye Baby, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Sounds of nature include Rain, Wind, and Waves.
Star Countdown: children get a visual indication of the countdown to wake-up; they can watch the stars disappear one-by-one as the wake-up time approaches.
Time to Wake Up: when night turns to day the sun comes out as the wake-up time arrives. The sleeping characters awake from their sleep and stand on their clouds as they float by.
Custom Options: change settings including the sounds, the duration of the sounds, and whether to put the display to sleep after a period of time. You can use the app as a childrens alarm clock, a night light, or simply as a way to keep children in their beds for longer.
Sleep Protection for Parents: As well as helping children understand their sleeping times, this app is designed to help exhausted parents get a good nights sleep. We recommend placing your device out of reach of children but within view (on a chest of drawers or a table).
Power: If using overnight please keep your device on charge.
